From Iida to Midoriya

From Iida to Midoriya is the eighth episode of season 3 and the forty-sixth episode overall in the Boku no Hero Academia anime  It is based of chapters 84 and 85 of the manga.

Synopsis

 

Todoroki and Kirishima teams up with their friends to rescue Bakugo.

Plot

 

Kirishima tells MIdoriya that they can still save Baukgo. Kirishima is frustrated that his friend has been taken away by the hands of villains. Even though Iida and the rest object acknowledging the fight with Stain, they can't go and use their Quirks as a weapon as it is against the law. As they clear out the room, Todoroki and Kirishima said they will wait for Midoriya's decision in front the hospital, Iida was listening then exit. The doctor then told Midoriya about his condition and that when he uses his Quirk, he brakes his hand at the same spot. So this continues, he might be absent of using his hands. The doctor said that even Recovery Girl is fed up of Midoriya creating self-inflicted wounds. 

Tsukauchi and All Might was seen assembling a team. Endeavor was seen at his desk and took a call, then Edgeshot who was in the air, then Best Jeanist, Gran Torino, Gang Ocha, Tiger, Kamui Woods and Mt. Lady  

Night falls, and Todoroki and Kirishima were waiting in front of the hospital awaiting Midoriya and Yaoyorozu's response. Not long, Midoriya and Yaoyorozu went out of the hospital and appraoch Todoroki and Kirishima. They ask for Yaoyorozu's response about the tracking device. She said that since she made the tracking device she's able to track where the Nomu went. Midoriya says that he'll join the two, since Kirishima said that they can still reach him. Just as they were about to go, Iida came since he knew that they would meet up in front of the hospital and demands them to not continue the plan. Midoriya tries to reason with him but receive a punch in the face. Iida said he too is frustrated: that's why he doesn't want his classmates to end up like Tensei Iida. Kirishima says that they are not going to fight, just a retreat mission. Iida then said he will follow, but just so that he can keep an eye on them, being their "watchman", saying that if they begin to start a battle, he will force them to retreat. They set of to a bullet train to Camino.

In the train, Yaoyorozu says that the journey will take about 2 hours. Todoroki and Kirishima said that they were glad that Midoriya agrees to follow. Todoroki adding that the rest held back when they said that they wanted to rescue Bakugo. They said their friends said some harsh stuff about their plan, saying that Uraraka said: Bakugo will not be happy to know that his friends are trying to save him and it would be embarrassing to him. Midoriya is upset upon hearing that and remembers when Bakugo was being taken away. But even so, he says that there's no turning back for him. He can still save him.

In Camino World, the five were gazing around the place and said to try to blend in. People will notice them since the Sports Festival. Yaoyorozu the suggest that they go shopping. And so they dress completely differently with Midoriya being a punk, Todoroki being some emo guy, Yaoyorozu being some young rich girl, Iida looking like a butler and Kirishima looking cute. They then try to blend in. Todoroki asks why didn't Yaoyorozu use her Quirk to make them the disguises and she says that she just wants to blend in as a citizen, even though her real attention was to go shopping. Midoriya then heard a guy shouting "U.A!" and looked, thinking someone might had spot them. On a big screen was Principle Nezu, Aizawa and Vlad King. They were apologizing to the media about the forest camp incident. Midoriya is surprise to see Mr. Aizawa on media since he hates that. The crowd then start talking trash on U.A saying that they can't trust them if they let villains kidnap the child of others, what about their families?

Bakugo, still in chained up, Shigaraki starts persuading him into joining them. They said that they are not just a bunch of villlains. Shigaraki goes on with a long talk of that. He then wants to free Bakugo to treat him as an equal and asks Dabi to do so but pushes the job to Twice. Twice then frees him and receives an explosion to his face. Bakugo says that these villains are too dumb to get to the point, in which really saying that they want him to join to hurt more people. He said that since the star that he admires All Might and that that won't change. Shigaraki looks down and sees that hand on his face is on the ground. In shock he looks at it and said 'father'. End.
